Description: This session will focus on what a Meaningful Day is to the people we support.   We often hear this described as meaningful engagements that includes: substantial and sustained opportunity for optimal health; self-empowerment and personalized relationships; skill development and or maintenance of skills; and social, educational and community inclusion activities.  We will review how we individualize this for our ADT participants; ensure they are age appropriate and linked to the vision and goals desired as personal outcomes of the individual.

Presenter:  Jean Russell, OT, Vice President Seven Counties Services Developmental Services.

Jean has spent over 29 years in the field of rehabilitation with individuals of all ages and abilities.  Jean led Frazier Rehab Institute for over 20 years, has taught courses in Occupational Therapy, Healthcare Leadership and Finance and has been an advocate for individuals with disabilities all her career.
